Arcas is a Guatemalan NGO dedicated to conserving wildlife and its habitat. Its Rescue Center in Peten receives 400 animals of 40 species per year. At its Hawaii program on the Pacific coast, it protects endangered sea turtles and mangroves.
Arcas relies on volunteers from all around the world to support its wildlife conservation projects. A fee of 150 UD dollars per week covers all food and lodging at the wildlife rescue center and at the sea turtle project.
