CLASSROOMS, DINNING HALL, DORMITORIES, CLINIC, CANTEEN, PLAY GROUND, AGRICULTURAL SITE.

Commitment:at least 1 WEEK
Costs:US. DOLLARS 70 PER WEEK. There is no charge if you take this position outside Kenya, but there's US$70 per week payable prior or at the start of the placement should you take this position within Kenya. The program fee will cater for your meals, accommodation, orientation & supervision as well as the orphanage projects.

Description
In our ambitions to expand our projects to reach more orphans and sustain the existing projects , we are seeking an individual or a group of qualified people to research, write, and follow-up on grant proposals to organizations from around the world.
Creativity and wide mind would be an advantage to assist with ideas to communicate the needs and aims of the organization. This position can be taken while outside of Kenya however volunteers will gain a fuller understanding of the organization once they have visited the projects in person.

Additional Info:Baraka has two centers one dealing with youth from 17 years of age and above who are taking vocational skill courses and another in Masinga district makutano about 27 kilometers from the main center which deals with small children from 0 year to 16 years these children are learning in near primary schools and come to the home after school.
Baraka staff arranges Airport transfers and transportation from the main airport to the project sites. Upon arrival, we offer free orientation for the new volunteers to become acquainted with the local culture, language and projectís work.
All our placements are safe and secure.
we organize volunteers tour any sites our our country in weekends and holidays but volunteers have to meet the transport and meals outside the project site.
