At this project TYCEN volunteers will be working with other international volunteers and local young youth by educating and teaching the little poor kids of Kilimanjaro region.Volunteers besides teaching will also take part in the renovation of the school by painting cleaning the walls drawing beautiful diagrams and charts on the school wall.
Accommodation and meals Participants will stay either in a house, hostel, school classrooms or camping tents and three meals a day will be available. You will receive more detailed information regarding accommodations on your info sheet after your application reaches our office.
Leisure Activities and Weekend Excursions We shall have at least one sports day with school students and local youths. We will also spend a day at Kendwa Rocks or pongwe beach resort in the northern part of Zanzibar. These one of the best beaches on Zanzibar with pristine, white sand. Various water sports are available such as snorkeling and padi-1 scuba diving can be arranged. Also Visits to local Arts and Crafts Local brews spice and stonetown tour and other sites.
International Cultural Nights Each country represented in the work camp will have an opportunity to present his or her country to the rest of the team and be ready to be asked questions about their country. This is a chance for you to sing songs dance and share stories from your home country.

NOTE Project participation fee covers food and accommodation during the work camp project program T shirt certificates and pick up cost from the Airport to the meeting point. It does not cover bus or boat fare to the host community.
