Type Of Work:Volunteers help produce Buddhist books for donation to Tibetan monks, nuns, and lay practitioners at the annual World Peace Ceremony in Bodh Gaya, India. This involves working in our on-site bindery performing any number of the following tasks, folding, collating, trimming, edge-dying, and warehousing.
Required Skills:No special skills are necessary. We train all of our volunteers, but a healthy physical and mental constitution is required.
Costs:Volunteers must cover their own travel expenses to and from our Buddhist center in rural Northern California. Housing and meals are provided for free to the volunteer as a part of our residential volunteer program.
